Last Thursday, my mom took me to Jiufen, an old town just outside of Taipei that has a lot of old winding narrow lanes. This is the town that the art director of "Spirited Away" based the movie's architecture on. There are remnants of old Japanese architecture. It was fun to go with other moms and kids.
