The Princess and the Frog
Today my dad and I saw a picture of a princess and a frog, and my dad told me that in the story the princess kisses the frog. I said that the princess was Princess Anja. My dad asked whether I wanted to kiss the frog, and I said, "Big hug is fine!" ("Big hug 就好了!")

Happy Birthday, Baba!
Today is my dad's actual birthday. After dinner, we sang happy birthday and had mango mousse cake.
Baba is turning 1!
After the cake we relaxed with my new favorite book, Amelia Bedelia. My mom said it was one of her favorites when she was little!

A transcript of a recent conversation:
Dad: We're going to Beitou tomorrow.
Anja: Beitou is garbage truck.
Dad and mom: What?
Anja: Beitou is the garbage truck song.
Mom: Oh, you are thinking of Beethoven. The garbage truck song is Beethoven!
This conversation really only makes sense if you live in Taiwan but it was too funny to not write down.

Happy Birthday, Baba!
Yesterday we celebrated my dad's birthday even though his actual birthday is on Monday, March 2nd. We bought my dad a really expensive bicycle. Then we had dim sum at the Brothers Hotel. It was pretty good.
Then we hung out with my cousin Baby Ryan at The Mall, this posh mall next to the Far Eastern Hotel
Then we went out to a Southwestern restaurant and had really yummy food!
I especially liked the tortilla chips and salad with lots of ranch dressing.
We then sang Happy Birthday to my Baba.
